Klaartje Stalenhoef
PARTNER, ATTORNEY AT LAW
Approachable, empathetic go-getter
Klaartje Stalenhoef joined Penrose.law on 1 November 2022. Klaartje worked as an employment lawyer at Kennedy Van der Laan in Amsterdam for 8 years, after which she worked in the legal department of ABN AMRO specialising in employment law. In 2015 she started her own law firm: Stalenhoef Advocatuur. In addition to her work as a lawyer, Klaartje worked as in-house counsel for NS, Heineken and TU Delft on an interim basis.
In 2015, Klaartje successfully completed the Post Doctorale Leergang Arbeidsrecht (PALA) [Postdoctoral Employment Law Course] at the Erasmus Academie.
Klaartje’s activities cover a wide range of employment-related matters, also including collective labour law and co-determination law. Klaartje is an approachable sparring partner of HR advisors, directors, works councils and employees. In addition, she is affiliated with several committees, dealing with complaints and/or dismissals, either as a chairperson or as a member.
Klaartje’s approach is pragmatic and solution-oriented. Instead of long-winded memos, she will give you relevant and useful advice that can be directly applied in practice. Klaartje always aims to reach a satisfactory solution for all parties involved. But of course she will not back down from legal proceedings.
Klaartje has a particular affinity for working with foundations and social enterprises.
