FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organization for animals under direct human influence. They expose animal suffering and also rescue animals in need and protect them. FP was founded in Vienna in 1988 by Heli Dungler. The organization advocates for a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding. With offices in Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Kosovo, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Vietnam, South Africa and Switzerland, as well as sanctuaries for rescued animals in twelve countries, they offer help and long-term solutions to animals in need.
