Damecon
On 1 October 2020, ICT company Conscia has acquired the Dutch cloud service provider Damecon. Conscia is an ICT service provider that specialises in IT infrastructure and cyber security. Damecon is in the business of managed services for infrastructure, cyber security and data management.
Conscia, with its HQ in Denmark, employs 750 people in six countries (i.e. Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Slovenia). Its annual revenue is approximately EUR 335 million. In the Netherlands, Conscia already has an office in Gouda with 200 employees. Through this acquisition, the company makes a further step in supporting digital transformation.
To Damecon the purchase of the company opens new doors to expand the business. “The shared vision and company culture were essential to us to continue our mission as a part of Conscia.” says Jory van Dam, CTO and founder of Damecon.
The Amsterdam based law firm Penrose has advised the sellers of Damecon on this sales transaction. The Penrose legal team was led by Chris Zeevenhooven and Lukas Witsenburg.
